Who is eligible to call NJ Postpartum Support?

All women who are NJ residents who have been pregnant within the last 18 months are eligible to call, as well as fathers, partners, and caregivers.

How do you help?

We are here 24/7 to provide immediate support when you call, help you figure out what kind of ongoing support you need, and connect you with the resources that you need for proper screening, diagnosis, and treatment.

Are referrals covered by my Insurance?

Every effort will be made to provide you with referrals to providers within your insurance network.

Those without insurance will still receive assistance.

I don’t have insurance. Can I still call?

Yes! Assistance will be provided, and referrals will be made to ensure that those who have no insurance or are underinsured are still able to access the supports, resources, and treatments they need to recover. 

How quickly can I expect to get an appointment?

Every effort  will be made to get you an appointment as quickly as possible.  Appointments are usually scheduled within 10 business days of your call.

Are therapy appointments via video or in-person?

Telehealth and in-person session options are available, as well as hybrid options that include both. Options vary by provider.

Is there a limit on how often I can call?

There is no limit on the number of times you can call NJ Postpartum Support.
